The ‘APDRED’ Master's course is designed as part of the national drive for regional planning and development, and is intended to meet the constant need to rehabilitate degraded landscaped areas, in a general context marked by the negative impact of climate change, socio-economic issues and the challenges of environmental protection.

The ‘APDRED’ master's degree offers an innovative multidisciplinary academic programme, combining theory and practice, including the use of modern landscaping tools (GIS & Remote Sensing, CAD, AI, etc.), while developing an ethical and responsible approach to the design, planning and implementation of sustainable landscaping projects, in the face of multiple challenges (environmental, socio-economic, etc.).

This course provides skills in several disciplines related to the concept of ‘landscape’, and aims to train high-level professionals and/or researchers capable of designing, planning and managing landscapes in a sustainable manner, integrating ecological, social and economic dimensions.

    The ‘APDRED’ Master's degree is open to holders of :

    .Professional bachelor's degree (specialising in landscape architecture or the management of green spaces), or a degree recognised as equivalent;

    .Bachelor's degree  in science and technology (Specialisation: Biology) ;

    .Bachelor's degree in fundamental studies (Specialisations: Urbanisme; Environnement; Ecologie);

    .By way of a bridge for students who have validated the 1st Year of the Engineering Cycle (Option: Landscape Architecture).

    Specific educational prerequisites in :

    .Landscape planning (landscape design, landscape projects, etc.);

    .Knowledge of plants

    .Landscape computer graphics (software: AutoCAD, Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.); Drawing and graphic representations;

    .Drawing and graphic representations.

    Admission to the ‘APDRED’ Master's programme is by selection. Applications will be examined by a selection committee at the Agadir Horticultural Complex. The candidate selection procedure is carried out in two successive stages:

    A pre-selection based on a study of the academic record (honours, number of years of study, language certificate, transcripts, portfolio, etc.) and motivation; 

    The results of the preselection will be published on Saturday 05 October 2024.

    An oral test: Candidates shortlisted will be invited to attend an oral interview on Thursday 10 October 2024, at the Agadir Horticultural Complex.

    The results of the oral interview will be posted no later than Saturday 12 October 2024.

    Registration is scheduled for Monday 14 October 2024, and the course will start on Tuesday 15 October 2024 at 09:00.
