The Agadir Horticultural Complex is holding a conference on May 9th at 3 PM to officially establish a consortium between Moroccan growers, global ag-tech leading companies, and research institutes from the Netherlands, Israel, China and Morocco. Our aim is to draw scientific research programs through PhDs and Post-Docs, in order to strengthen the local capacity and value chains of Moroccan growers, helping them tackle current challenges in Horticulture.

During the conference, we will sign the official consortium agreements and present the scientific committee that will prioritize research axes and agree on topics. The committee will be comprised of members from each organization and will have its first meeting privately right after the conference to establish work planning.

We believe that our consortium will serve as a platform for knowledge sharing, expertise, and technology, resulting in mutual benefits for all members. The conference will provide a foundation for the consortium's future work, and we are excited about the possibilities for collaboration that will result.
