The Horticultural Complex of Agadir is launching a competitive entrance process for a new flagship program: the Specialized Veterinary Technician Training, a first of its kind in Morocco.

This program is designed to meet the growing needs of the animal sector by providing the Souss Massa region and the entire Kingdom with highly qualified specialized technicians capable of supporting the sustainable and competitive development of the veterinary field.

Requirements & Benefits

• A unique training program developed in partnership with the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria (Spain).

• Courses are delivered in Spanish by faculty members from the University of Las Palmas.

• Intensive language support is provided to help students reach B2 level in Spanish by the end of the program.

• The top graduates will have the opportunity to pursue their studies at the University of Las Palmas, entering directly into the 3rd year of the veterinary degree program.

• After three additional years of study in Spain, they will be awarded the title of Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria.

Program Objectives

• Train specialized technicians capable of effectively assisting veterinarians in animal health, livestock, and food safety.
• Strengthen the training offerings of the Horticultural Complex of Agadir in a strategic, innovative, and high-employment sector.
• Contribute to the regional and national reputation of the Complex through high-level international academic partnerships.

Eligibility Criteria

• Be of Moroccan nationality.

• Hold a high school diploma in one of the following: Agricultural Sciences, Life and Earth Sciences, Physical Sciences, or Mathematical Sciences A.

• Be under 30 years of age as of September 1st, 2025.

Selection Procedure

Admission to the « Specialized Veterinary Technician » program is based on a selection process.

Applications will be reviewed by a selection committee of the Agadir Horticultural Complex. The candidate selection process takes place in two successive stages:

• The selection of candidates registered online will be based on the grades obtained in the Regional exam for French, as well as the grades from the National exam in Mathematics, Physical Sciences, and Life and Earth Sciences.

• The results of the pre-selection will be published on Monday, July 28, 2025.

• Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend an in-person written and oral interview on Wednesday, July 30, 2025, starting at 8:30 a.m.

• The final results will be posted on the website and at our institution no later than Friday, August 1, 2025.
